FLASHBACK FRIDAY: Kits Beach - House Lift

​These "Kitsilano Beach - House Lift" photos date back to June 2006, which is 20 years ago this month! It was an interesting project because the ground contained so much sand and seashells that it required extra shoring.  We had to vibrate large I-beams into the sand to create posts with 3x12's in between them to retain the two neighboring properties.

This month we finished a cedar fence for the same friends/homeowners. It is wonderful to have these longstanding relationships.
